Project Background

A retaining wall project in the Philippines required soil reinforcement to improve wall stability and reduce settlement risk. The construction area had weak backfill conditions and required a reinforcement solution with strong tensile performance.

Solution

We supplied biaxial geogrid for reinforced soil structure construction. The geogrid was designed to interact with the backfill material and improve overall structural stability behind the retaining wall.

Installation Process

The foundation area was prepared and compacted before wall construction. During backfilling, layers of soil were placed and compacted step by step. Geogrid layers were installed horizontally between soil layers according to the project design spacing. Proper anchorage length and alignment were maintained throughout the construction process.

Project Result

The reinforced retaining wall achieved improved load distribution and better long-term stability. The project team reported good installation performance and effective reinforcement results under the site conditions.
