Project Background

This slope protection project was located in a high rainfall area in Malaysia. The client needed an erosion control solution to stabilize the slope surface and reduce soil loss during heavy rain.

Solution

We recommended HDPE geocell as a three-dimensional confinement system for slope protection. The geocell structure helps hold soil in place, improve vegetation support and reduce surface runoff impact.

Installation Process

The slope surface was trimmed and cleaned before installation. Geocell panels were expanded and anchored firmly onto the slope. The cells were then filled with local soil and compacted. In some sections, vegetation planting was added to further improve erosion resistance and landscape effect.

Project Result

The geocell system effectively stabilized the slope and reduced erosion damage during rainy periods. The project provided both structural protection and improved surface appearance.
