Project Background

A riverbank protection project in Bangladesh required a practical and durable solution to reduce erosion and strengthen the embankment against seasonal flooding. Traditional methods were not sufficient for the site conditions.

Solution

We supplied strong and permeable geotextile bags for embankment reinforcement. These bags were filled with sand and used as protective units along the riverbank to reduce water impact and stabilize the structure.

Installation Process

The construction team first prepared the riverbank surface and positioned the bags according to the design layout. Filled geotextile bags were then stacked and arranged in layers along the vulnerable sections. Proper placement and compaction were maintained to ensure structural integrity.

Project Result

The completed embankment showed improved resistance against erosion and floodwater scouring. The use of geotextile bags provided a cost-effective and flexible solution for hydraulic protection.
