Project Background

This project was designed for a shrimp farming base in Indonesia. The client needed a reliable lining material for multiple aquaculture ponds to prevent water leakage, improve water quality management and reduce maintenance costs.

Solution

We supplied high-quality HDPE geomembrane with excellent anti-seepage performance and UV resistance. Based on the client’s pond design and local climate conditions, we recommended 1.0 mm smooth geomembrane for easy installation and long-term outdoor use.

Installation Process

Before installation, the pond base was leveled and cleaned to remove sharp stones and debris. The geomembrane sheets were then laid across the pond bottom and side slopes. All overlaps were welded carefully to ensure strong and leak-proof seams. After welding inspection, the liner was fixed securely around the pond edge.

Project Result

The geomembrane system effectively reduced seepage and helped the client create a more controlled aquaculture environment. After installation, the ponds showed improved water retention, easier cleaning and better farming efficiency.
